(1) PCIe Cable x8 – x8 (EB2R) (1) PCIe ECARD (EB2) (1) PCIe TDP Cable (EB2)

(1) Rack Mount Slides and Brackets (EB2R) (1) Power Cord

Install PCI Express Host card and connect cables

Desktop or server connection (EB2R)

Connect cable to ExpressBox

Loosen both thumb screws, lift and pull the lid toward you to remove.

Open ExpressBox

Enclosure

Install PCI Express cards

Remove PCI Express filler bracket for the expansion slot you wish to use in

the chassis. Install peripheral PCI Express card into the slot connector and

secure with retaining screw.

Connect the other end of the iPass cable to the bottom iPass connector on the

back of the EB2 chassis along with the chassis power cord.

The card guide holder can be adjusted to accommodate various lengths of PCI Express

cards. Repeat the process to install a second PCI Express card.

Install the Magma PCI Express Host

Card into an available PCI Express

slot in your computer. Secure it with

retaining screw.

Connect one side of the iPass cable to the host card.

Laptop connection (EB2)

Connect one side of the iPass cable to the

host card.

Power on ExpressBox

Turn the power on using

the power switch on the

front of the chassis. Verify

that the green LED by the

side of power switch is on.
